Corvo is committed to achieving “Zero Waste” certification and has recently formalised its commitment to this end. To achieve this goal, Corvo intends to step up its efforts to separate and treat bio-waste, promoting more sustainable management of these materials. In addition, the municipality of Corvo is focussing on promoting reuse and recycling practices, in partnership with the environmental association Zero, with the aim of reducing environmental impact and building a more waste-conscious community.

The initiative seeks not only to fulfil the requirements for “Zero Waste” certification, but also to promote a cultural change in the population, encouraging the adoption of more sustainable and ecological habits. By signing this pledge, Corvo is demonstrating its commitment to environmental preservation and building a more responsible and waste management-conscious future.
