The Government of the Azores promotes the implementation of an innovative action of business training in Management and Leadership for Sustainability, which is the central pillar of its development strategy based on economic, social and environmental aspects.

This initiative of the Vice Presidency of the Government, developed through SDEA – Society for the Business Development of the Azores, aims to provide Azorean entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs with practical models of sustainable management, enabling the strengthening and credibility of their value offer.

Betting on these new business management and leadership tools makes a strong contribution to increasing business resilience as well as meeting international goals, while also preparing companies for emerging regulation and market changes.

“This is another initiative within the framework of the commitment of the Government of the Azores to the certification of the archipelago as a sustainable destination and which provides for the preparation of appropriate responses from Azorean society in general and regional companies, in particular, to the achievement of targets. contribute to the valorization of the Azores as a certified sustainable destination, thereby reinforcing the genuine and consistent image of the products and services of the Azorean companies, ”said Vice President Sérgio Ávila.

Registration for this training action of the Azorean companies in Management and Leadership for Sustainability runs until December 19.

The companies enrolled in this action will have a 72-hour training, consisting of six non-consecutive workshops, which will be taught by national and foreign experts, scheduled for January.

Enrollment for this initiative, which is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2020, will enable participants to obtain an Executive Certificate of Management and Leadership for Sustainability with the recognition of BCSD Portugal (Business Council for Sustainable Development) and Sustain Azores.
